About this fair

PTC ASIA 2026 takes place from 3 to 6 November at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre and is dedicated to power transmission, motion and industrial control. The official website announces a scale of close to 1,800 exhibitors and around 110,000 square metres, covering hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical transmission, bearings, motors, gears, belts, chains, sealing and automation components. For industrial buyers it is a particularly efficient platform for comparing suppliers of critical components and Chinese manufacturing alternatives. Selection should consider service life, materials, precision, tolerances and testing capability. For wear or safety-critical parts, qualify samples and establish a control plan before scaling volume.

Most in-demand products

Hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gears, motors, gearboxes, chains, belts, seals, mechanical transmission, linear components and industrial control systems.

Sources and verification

Is this trade fair worth visiting?

✓ Yes

Yes, especially if you source Industrial Machinery, want to compare samples in person or negotiate with several manufacturers in a few days.

— Not necessarily

Probably not if your product belongs to a different sector than Industrial Machinery, you already have verified suppliers and only need repeat orders, or the potential volume does not justify the trip.

Tips for visitors

Provide drawings and specifications with tolerances, material, treatment and expected service life. For bearings, gears and seals, request material traceability, dimensional inspection and functional testing, not only commercial samples.

Getting around

Shanghai has one of the world's largest metro networks. SNIEC is mainly served via Longyang Road/Huamu Road and NECC via East Xujing/National Exhibition and Convention Center, depending on the entrance. The Maglev links Pudong Airport with Longyang Road in about eight minutes; continue from there by metro or taxi.
On local networks in mainland China, some international services may be restricted or unavailable. If you rely on them for work, prepare a connectivity solution that complies with current rules before travelling and do not depend on a single app. Hong Kong operates under a different internet regime.
