About this fair
ITMA ASIA + CITME 2026 is confirmed for 20–24 November at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. The organiser reserves approximately 180,000 square metres across seven halls to cover the textile-machinery chain from fibre preparation, spinning, weaving and knitting to dyeing, finishing, nonwovens, automation, software, recycling and quality control. It is an extremely high-value fair for textile manufacturers and machinery buyers because technologies and complete configurations can be compared directly. Textile equipment should be evaluated against the target raw material and product, productivity, utilities consumption, style-change requirements, maintenance, spare parts and installation capability, not just nominal speed.
Most in-demand products
Spinning, weaving, knitting, texturing, dyeing and finishing machinery, nonwovens, textile printing, automation, software, recycling, testing and components.

Is this trade fair worth visiting?
✓ Yes
Yes, especially if you source Industrial Machinery, Textiles & Fashion, want to compare samples in person or negotiate with several manufacturers in a few days.
— Not necessarily
Probably not if your product belongs to a different sector than Industrial Machinery, Textiles & Fashion, you already have verified suppliers and only need repeat orders, or the potential volume does not justify the trip.
Tips for visitors
Bring fibre specifications, yarn counts, target fabrics and productivity requirements. Request trials with comparable material, measured consumption, critical-component lists, spare-parts plans, installation lead times and references for similar lines already operating.

Getting around
Shanghai has one of the world's largest metro networks. SNIEC is mainly served via Longyang Road/Huamu Road and NECC via East Xujing/National Exhibition and Convention Center, depending on the entrance. The Maglev links Pudong Airport with Longyang Road in about eight minutes; continue from there by metro or taxi.
On local networks in mainland China, some international services may be restricted or unavailable. If you rely on them for work, prepare a connectivity solution that complies with current rules before travelling and do not depend on a single app. Hong Kong operates under a different internet regime.
