About this fair
bauma CHINA 2026 takes place in Shanghai with an exceptional two-venue format: activities run from 23 to 26 November at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center and from 24 to 27 November at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The organiser announces more than 400,000 square metres and over 4,000 exhibitors across construction machinery, mining, materials, components and industrial equipment. It is one of China’s strongest fairs for buyers of heavy machinery and construction equipment. Because of its scale, the agenda should be planned by machine family and supplier. Before importing, review conformity, documentation, engines, emissions where applicable, spare parts, service, manuals, training and after-sales capability.
Most in-demand products
Construction and mining machinery, earthmoving, lifting, concrete, road machinery, crushing, components, engines, hydraulics, tools and materials equipment.

Is this trade fair worth visiting?
✓ Yes
Yes, especially if you source Construction & Materials, Industrial Machinery, want to compare samples in person or negotiate with several manufacturers in a few days.
— Not necessarily
Probably not if your product belongs to a different sector than Construction & Materials, Industrial Machinery, you already have verified suppliers and only need repeat orders, or the potential volume does not justify the trip.

Getting around
Shanghai has one of the world's largest metro networks. SNIEC is mainly served via Longyang Road/Huamu Road and NECC via East Xujing/National Exhibition and Convention Center, depending on the entrance. The Maglev links Pudong Airport with Longyang Road in about eight minutes; continue from there by metro or taxi.
On local networks in mainland China, some international services may be restricted or unavailable. If you rely on them for work, prepare a connectivity solution that complies with current rules before travelling and do not depend on a single app. Hong Kong operates under a different internet regime.
