About this fair

Cinte Techtextil China 2026 takes place from 1 to 3 September at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre and specialises in technical textiles and nonwovens. It is particularly relevant for companies looking for materials for automotive, construction, filtration, protection, medical, industrial, geotextile, sports or other functional applications. Unlike a conventional fashion fair, the value here lies in specifications, performance and the supplier’s technical capabilities. The organiser keeps the event strictly trade-focused and confirms free admission for registered visitors. For B2B sourcing, arrive with performance parameters already defined, because two materials that look similar can behave very differently in strength, filtration, flame retardancy, waterproofing or durability.

Most in-demand products

Technical textiles, nonwovens, functional fibres, filtration materials, geotextiles, protective materials, automotive, medical and construction solutions, and textile manufacturing processes.

Sources and verification

Is this trade fair worth visiting?

✓ Yes

Yes, especially if you source Industrial Machinery, Textiles & Fashion, want to compare samples in person or negotiate with several manufacturers in a few days.

— Not necessarily

Probably not if your product belongs to a different sector than Industrial Machinery, Textiles & Fashion, you already have verified suppliers and only need repeat orders, or the potential volume does not justify the trip.

Tips for visitors

Bring a requirements sheet covering weight, composition, strength, treatment, standards, width, tolerances and required tests. For regulated or safety-related applications, require verifiable laboratory reports and traceable samples.

Getting around

Shanghai has one of the world's largest metro networks. SNIEC is mainly served via Longyang Road/Huamu Road and NECC via East Xujing/National Exhibition and Convention Center, depending on the entrance. The Maglev links Pudong Airport with Longyang Road in about eight minutes; continue from there by metro or taxi.
On local networks in mainland China, some international services may be restricted or unavailable. If you rely on them for work, prepare a connectivity solution that complies with current rules before travelling and do not depend on a single app. Hong Kong operates under a different internet regime.
