About this fair
The 35th edition of Asia’s largest hospitality and foodservice fair will be held at the NECC in Shanghai from 30 March to 2 April 2027. After a record 303,576 visitors and 4,018 exhibitors across 400,000 m² in 2026, the 2027 edition remains at the same venue and continues its international expansion through matchmaking programmes and global buyer delegations.

Registration & entry
Professional visitor registration is free and completed online on the official website (en.hotelex.cn) before travelling. Bring your passport and business card to collect your badge at the venue.
The show is strictly B2B and not open to the general public. It covers the hospitality and foodservice supply chain, including equipment, tableware, beverages, bakery, coffee, franchising and kitchen technology.
Visa: Spain and Portugal currently benefit from China's visa-free policy for short stays — check the rules in force before booking.
How to get there
Metro Line 2, East Xujing (徐泾东) station, with direct access to NECC. It is the most convenient connection from central Shanghai and Hongqiao.
From Hongqiao Airport (SHA) and Hongqiao high-speed rail station: around 10–15 minutes by taxi or DiDi.
From Pudong Airport (PVG): allow more than one hour; Line 2 crosses the city and is the public-transport option.
NECC is extremely large, so check the hall plan before arrival and identify the zone you need — kitchen equipment, beverages, coffee, bakery, etc.
Where to stay near the fair
Direct second-floor access to the exhibition halls: one of the easiest options for avoiding transfers.
Spacious rooms and solid value for money; a well-established choice for NECC exhibition visitors.

Getting around
Shanghai has one of the world's largest metro networks. SNIEC is mainly served via Longyang Road/Huamu Road and NECC via East Xujing/National Exhibition and Convention Center, depending on the entrance. The Maglev links Pudong Airport with Longyang Road in about eight minutes; continue from there by metro or taxi.
On local networks in mainland China, some international services may be restricted or unavailable. If you rely on them for work, prepare a connectivity solution that complies with current rules before travelling and do not depend on a single app. Hong Kong operates under a different internet regime.
