About this fair

HKTDC’s Spring Electronics Fair is one of Asia’s largest electronics fairs, with more than 3,000 exhibitors from 40 countries and over 60,000 buyers from more than 140 countries. The spring edition is held in April at HKCEC, about a month before many buyers finalise orders for the Christmas season.

Most in-demand products

Consumer electronics, computers and accessories, audio and video, telecommunications, automotive electronics, IoT and smart home, wearables and e-health.

Sources and verification

Is this trade fair worth visiting?

✓ Yes

Yes, especially if you source Electronics & Appliances, want to compare samples in person or negotiate with several manufacturers in a few days.

— Not necessarily

Probably not if your product belongs to a different sector than Electronics & Appliances, you already have verified suppliers and only need repeat orders, or the potential volume does not justify the trip.

Tips for visitors

The spring HKTDC Electronics Fair overlaps with CHINAPLAS 2027 in Shenzhen on 13–16 April. Hong Kong and Shenzhen are about one hour apart by high-speed rail, so if your business combines electronics with plastics or packaging, consider covering both fairs on the same trip.

Registration & entry

Visitor registration is completed online through the official HKTDC portal before travelling. Bring your passport and business card to the venue. The fair is strictly B2B and not open to the general public.
HKTDC holds two editions each year: the Spring edition in April at HKCEC focuses strongly on new-season products and launches, while the Autumn edition in October attracts a larger international buying audience. Choose the edition that best matches your purchasing calendar.
Visa: Spanish and Portuguese passport holders do not currently require a visa for short stays in Hong Kong.

How to get there

MTR: Exhibition Centre station, Exit B, a short walk from HKCEC.
From Hong Kong International Airport (HKG): Airport Express to Hong Kong Station (about 24 minutes) plus a short taxi, or around 40 minutes by direct taxi depending on traffic. HKCEC is in Wan Chai on Victoria Harbour.
From Shenzhen: CHINAPLAS 2027 is scheduled for the same dates in Shenzhen (13–16 April). High-speed rail between West Kowloon and Shenzhen North takes around 30 minutes, so it is possible to combine both exhibitions with careful planning.
