Consumer electronics, gaming, smart-home products, mobile accessories and wearables.

Sources and verification

Is this trade fair worth visiting?

✓ Yes

Yes, especially if you source Electronics & Appliances, want to compare samples in person or negotiate with several manufacturers in a few days.

— Not necessarily

Probably not if your product belongs to a different sector than Electronics & Appliances, you already have verified suppliers and only need repeat orders, or the potential volume does not justify the trip.

Tips for visitors

The lifestyle phase runs in the same complex and during the same week (18–21 October), so you can cover both electronics and broader consumer products in a single trip.

Registration & entry

Apply for your visitor badge online on the official Global Sources website before you travel; check in at the venue with your passport and business card. Hours: 10:00–18:00.
The same venue chains several themed phases in October (consumer electronics opens the cycle, which runs until the 21st): check which phase matches your product before booking flights.
Visa: for short stays in Hong Kong many nationalities need no visa. If you then cross into mainland China (e.g. to the Canton Fair), China's visa policy applies — check the rules in force before travelling.

How to get there

AsiaWorld-Expo sits right next to Hong Kong airport (HKG) and has its own train stop: AsiaWorld-Expo Station, the end of the Airport Express line (~28 minutes from Central).
If you land at HKG you are practically there: the venue is beside the terminals.
On to the Canton Fair: high-speed rail from West Kowloon to Guangzhou in about an hour, or a cross-border coach over the Hong Kong–Zhuhai–Macao bridge.

Where to stay near the fair

Regala Skycity Hotel · Connected to the venue (SKYCITY)

Literally joined to AsiaWorld-Expo and the 11 SKIES complex: the zero-transfer option.

Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel · Next to the venue and the airport

Connected to AsiaWorld-Expo, with a 25-metre indoor pool, spa and five restaurants; the classic pick for AWE buyers.

Regal Airport Hotel · Inside airport Terminal 1

A two-minute walk from arrivals and a step from the venue; awarded the world's best airport hotel.

💡 Tip · Fair or city?

If you want to experience Hong Kong in the evenings, stay in Central or Tsim Sha Tsui and ride the Airport Express (~28 min). Booking on Trip.com with our code TLSX3O helps us keep this directory free.
