Look for development, pattern-making and manufacturing capability. Supply a technical specification, size breakdown and planned tests.
Jinjiang brings together footwear production, components and sportswear. Use this guide to choose the right area, develop your own collection and check that production matches your approved sample.
Jinjiang is particularly relevant for sports and casual footwear, private label trainers, soles, footwear textiles and selected sportswear categories. Specify whether you need a finished product, a component or full development. Each calls for a different supplier and budget.
Look for development, pattern-making and manufacturing capability. Supply a technical specification, size breakdown and planned tests.
Ask for the supplier’s own catalogue and establish which elements can change: colour, materials, logo, last and packaging.
Check actual stock and repeat availability. A development workshop or stock wholesaler may fit better than a line built for large orders.

Chendai · 陈埭镇 is a key part of Jinjiang’s footwear supply chain. The municipal government documents footwear and garment industrial park projects in the town. Jinjiang · Chendai · 29/04/2025 ↗
Plan visits around functions: last development, component supply and final assembly. An attractive sample room does not prove that a supplier controls all these processes.

When comparing soles or fabric, retain the material reference and producer’s name. For soles, specify composition, agreed density or hardness and expected performance. For fabric, record composition, weight, colour, finish and batch. Similar-looking samples can perform differently.
Before changing a component: request a new assembled sample and assess the whole product. An alternative material can change bonding, feel, weight or fit.
Neikeng · 内坑镇 has a slippers and sandals manufacturing cluster. Municipal reporting on the 2026 fair places the sector’s global product selection centre here. Jinjiang · 21/04/2026 ↗
Define the use: indoors, poolside, shower or outdoors. Then specify material, sizes, thickness, weight per pair and finish. Check odour, deformation, strap attachment and size consistency. For claims such as slip resistance, agree the test method and evidence the supplier must provide.

Prepare pattern measurements, fabric composition, stretch, lining, seams and print requirements. Garments need their own assessment: elastic recovery, opacity, colour fastness and performance after intended use or washing.
If you need matching footwear and apparel, compare specialists. A seller may coordinate the collection, but must identify the plants making each part and keep colour and quality requirements consistent.
Build the trip around confirmed meetings. Start in Jinjiang for footwear and components. Extend to Shishi or wider Quanzhou when you have identified a specific garment or material supplier. Consider Xiamen for travel connections or logistics meetings if it suits your itinerary.
A sales office in Xiamen may sell goods produced in Jinjiang. Record the office, factory, exporter and payment beneficiary separately. Compare companies by the tasks each actually takes on.
Less development, but verify relabelling permission, quantities by size and continuity. A catalogue photo does not confirm stock.
Start from the supplier’s design. Agree changes, design rights and any exclusivity limits in writing.
You provide specifications and approve samples before production. Define ownership and storage of lasts, moulds, files and samples.
Use your own or authorised designs. A factory’s relationship with well-known brands does not authorise you to buy or sell those products. TuSocioEnChina works with products that do not infringe trademarks.
A trading company can coordinate production and export. The contract should explain its relationship with the factory, quality responsibilities and who answers for non-performance.
Send the same specification revision to every candidate. Include intended use, drawings or authorised photos, materials by component, colour, construction, target weight, size breakdown, measurement points, tolerances, logo and packaging. For garments, add measurements by size and post-wash criteria.
For footwear, identify the upper, lining, insole, midsole and outsole. Specify the last and how fit will be checked. Do not accept a generic EU/US conversion without reviewing the supplier’s chart and testing relevant sizes.
Give each change a revision code and obtain written confirmation. Attach the final specification to the purchase order.
Check design and construction. Record changes with photos and measurements.
Review grading and fit. One size does not represent the whole collection.
Approve final materials, colours, markings and packaging. Identify and sign off the reference sample.
Compare the batch against the reference and specification. Document changes before accepting them.
Agree the number of revisions included, who pays sample shipping and what happens if fit or materials are rejected. Keep one reference with the supplier and another with you or your inspector.
Editable example with an equal quantity per size. This is a planning simulation, not a statement of Jinjiang factory minimums. Enter a minimum per style and colour only if your supplier has confirmed it.
No confirmed minimum: check with your supplier before finalising the assortment.
| Area | What to check | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Product identity | Style, colour, size, materials and logo | Photos against specification and sample |
| Construction | Bonding, stitching, symmetry, finish and left/right pairing | Inspection and measurements |
| Intended use | Fit, flexing, abrasion or grip as relevant | Agreed tests and defined methods |
| Garments | Measurements, seams, print and wash performance | Measurement chart and applicable test |
| Packaging | Assortment, labels, boxes, protection and counts | Records by SKU and carton |
Agree the sampling plan, critical, major and minor defects, and acceptance criteria with your inspector. There is no universal AQL value for every shoe. Visual inspection, physical testing and chemical compliance address different risks.
Determine the requirements for the product and its intended use before approving the sample. For other destinations, check the rules of the sales market.
For private label products, establish who assumes the legal manufacturer and importer obligations. Photos and factory inspection complement the documentation required for the product.
Request itemised quotations: price per pair or garment, currency, style/colour/size, moulds, development, samples, packaging, tests and delivery terms with a named place. Separate launch costs from recurring purchase costs.
The minimum may be driven by a material colour, sole, mould or packaging. Ask what causes the limit and whether fewer colours, an existing sole or shared materials across styles could help. A larger order is not always better if it leaves unsold sizes.
Agree payment milestones, the timeline from sample approval, inspection before the balance and remedies for defects. Avoid committing to a launch date before confirming materials, capacity and transport.
Request outer carton dimensions, pairs per carton and gross weight. Individual shoe boxes can increase shipping volume. Compare options that protect the goods and preserve the retail presentation you need.
For a DDP offer, confirm in writing who imports, which taxes and services are included and what documents you will receive. Shipping terms do not remove product safety obligations.
19–22 April 2026 · Jinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center. Dates and venue confirmed by the municipal government. Jinjiang · 11/04/2026 ↗
Use the fair to connect with manufacturers, material suppliers and machinery companies. Before booking a future edition, confirm dates, venue, registration and exhibitors with the organiser. No 2027 date is presented as confirmed.
Shortlist companies, request appointments and bring the same product specification. After every meeting, record the style, price, minimum, contact and next action. Follow up with factory visits where the project requires them.

It depends on the product and supplier. To test an idea, ask about stock, available materials and limited customisation. Confirm minimums by style, colour and size before comparing prices.
It is a town with industrial and commercial activity. Plan visits to specific businesses or centres and confirm the address and appointment; do not treat the search as a tour of one building.
You need sufficient design rights and authorisation to manufacture or sell it. Also define ownership of moulds and files and any exclusivity terms. Do not use third-party designs or logos without permission.
It does not present a directory of approved factories. It explains sourcing areas and a process for selecting candidates. An audit must assess the business and product relevant to your project.
There is no single lead time. Include development, revisions, materials, production, inspection and transport. Ask the supplier which approval starts the clock for each phase.
Sourcing, samples, verification and inspection can be coordinated remotely. A technical visit can help with complex development. Decide based on order value, uncertainty and available evidence.
