About this fair

The world’s leading lighting fair returns to Guzhen in October 2027 with its 1+8+N format: one main exhibition venue plus eight major lighting malls across the Guzhen industrial cluster. Together, the main halls and town showrooms cover about 1.5 million m² and involve more than 3,600 exhibitors.

Most in-demand products

Residential lighting, LED, commercial and architectural lighting, outdoor lighting, smart lighting, components and industry machinery.

Sources and verification

Is this trade fair worth visiting?

✓ Yes

Yes, especially if you source Lighting, want to compare samples in person or negotiate with several manufacturers in a few days.

— Not necessarily

Probably not if your product belongs to a different sector than Lighting, you already have verified suppliers and only need repeat orders, or the potential volume does not justify the trip.

Tips for visitors

The Guzhen lighting cluster is in Zhongshan, about 90 minutes by car from Guangzhou and around two hours from Hong Kong airport. You can combine it in the same trip with Foshan, which specialises in ceramics and bathroom products.

Getting around

Zhongshan has no airport of its own; Guangzhou Baiyun, Shenzhen Bao’an and Zhuhai Jinwan are options depending on where you are coming from and where your meetings are. The Shenzhen–Zhongshan Link opened in 2024 and cut the road journey between Shenzhen and Zhongshan from around two hours to about 30 minutes in favourable conditions. The city also has rail stations and ferry connections. Within the municipality, taxi/DiDi is still the most practical option for Guzhen and dispersed factories.
On local networks in mainland China, some international services may be restricted or unavailable. If you rely on them for work, prepare a connectivity solution that complies with current rules before travelling and do not depend on a single app. Hong Kong operates under a different internet regime.
