Getting around
Xiamen has metro, BRT, taxis/DiDi and buses. From Gaoqi Airport, taxi/DiDi or dedicated bus connections are usually the most direct way to Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center (XICEC); check the exact route for your venue. Since 2026 the city also has the Xiamen International Expo Center, now used by CIFIT, so do not confuse the two venues when booking hotels or transport.
On local networks in mainland China, some international services may be restricted or unavailable. If you rely on them for work, prepare a connectivity solution that complies with current rules before travelling and do not depend on a single app. Hong Kong operates under a different internet regime.
