Chongqing · 重庆
Chongqing is one of western China’s major industrial hubs. It is strong in automotive and new-energy vehicles, motorcycles, electronics, machinery and intelligent manufacturing. Its huge urban scale and mountainous terrain make logistics planning especially important for factory visits and trade fairs.

Getting around
Jiangbei International Airport and Chongqing North Railway Station connect well with the Yuelai area. For Chongqing International Expo Center, Line 10 serves Yuelai, while the Guobo Line serves Guobo Center/Yuelai. From Airport Terminal 3, the metro trip to Yuelai is around half an hour before the final walk, depending on the service. Chongqing is extremely hilly: short map distances can still take time.
On local networks in mainland China, some international services may be restricted or unavailable. If you rely on them for work, prepare a connectivity solution that complies with current rules before travelling and do not depend on a single app. Hong Kong operates under a different internet regime.

Practical buyer information
💶 Indicative daily budget
€50-100/day as a practical reference for a mid-range hotel, meals and local transport; major fairs can push prices higher.
⚠️ What buyers should watch for
Do not group meetings purely by kilometres on a map: Chongqing is a mountainous megacity and real journey times vary greatly. For automotive and electronics visits, confirm the industrial district, exact plant and access logistics before fixing the schedule.
