About this fair
Nanning's big annual fair, co-sponsored by the Chinese government and the ten ASEAN countries: the go-to event if you're looking for Southeast Asian suppliers or want to enter that market from China. Its previous edition (2025) brought together over 3,200 companies from 45 countries across 160,000 m² of exhibition space.

Visitor registration is done online on the organiser's official website (caexpo.org). This is an event with a strong institutional component — it is sponsored by the governments of China and the ASEAN countries — so check in with your passport and business card and allow extra time for opening-day access controls.
The 23rd edition debuts the CAFTA 3.0 free-trade framework and an AI matchmaking system ('AI CAEXPO') to pair buyers with exhibitors.

How to get there
Metro: the Convention & Exhibition Center station is a short walk from the venue — the most convenient way in on fair days.
From Wuxu Airport (NNG): about 40 minutes by taxi or DiDi.
By high-speed rail: Nanning East is about 7 km from the venue; from Guangzhou South it takes around 3-4 hours, so it combines well with a Pearl River Delta trip.

Getting around
Nanning Wuxu International Airport (NNG) is 30-35 km from downtown (40-50 min by car) and has flights to over 40 Chinese cities plus international routes to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh City, Phnom Penh, Yangon, Vientiane and Seoul — very handy if your trip combines China with Southeast Asia. There are shuttle buses to downtown (~20 CNY) or taxis (~100 CNY). The city has two train stations (Nanning and Nanning East, the latter high-speed) and a 4-line metro: Line 1 directly connects the high-speed station, downtown and the China-ASEAN Expo venue itself.
In mainland China, Google, Gmail, WhatsApp and Instagram aren't accessible without a VPN arranged before you travel (it can't be installed once you've arrived). Hong Kong doesn't have this restriction.
